Jai Hind High School Proudly Celebrates the Achievement of Our Counsellor
Jai Hind High School is delighted to share a moment of pride and recognition for one of our valued team members, Mr. Pavankumar Anandrao Gaikwad, School Counsellor, who has been honored with the prestigious "Samajbhushan" Award by the Adarsh Karyakarta Gaurav Samiti, Maharashtra State.
The Samajbhushan Award is conferred upon individuals who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields and have positively impacted society through their dedicated service.
Mr. Gaikwad has been recognized for his exemplary work in the field of psychology, particularly in school and family counselling, psychological assessment, and training services across Maharashtra. His compassionate counselling support during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation COVID Centre was also acknowledged as a significant contribution.
The award was presented on 2nd June 2026 in Pune by Hon. Namdev Chavan, Former District Chief Judge, in the presence of several distinguished guests and dignitaries.
At Jai Hind High School, we are fortunate to have professionals who not only guide and support our students but also contribute meaningfully to society at large. Mr. Gaikwad's achievement reflects the values of empathy, service, and excellence that our school strives to uphold.

Simple Assistive Technology Based Device To Help Specially Abled People To Eat Their Food More Comfortably
Inspire Manak Scheme offers students of different schools all over the country an opportunity to send original and creative technology innovations/ideas focusing on common problems and come with solutions on their own
Yoshika Gulabani, a student of Jai Hind High School had participated in this competition and had qualified the NLEPC (National Level Exhibition and Project Competition)
She had presented a project, which will help such people those who have lost their hands/fingers or are suffering with leprosy or are especially abled to hold spoon/fork while eating and make the task of eating more comfortable. It is basically a 3D printed band that can be worn around ones palm/wrist and there's hoop attached to it so that we can enter the spoon and it is also an adjustable band, so that people can comfortably use it.
At National Level 441 Projects were selected which had been displayed. Out of 441 projects top 60 projects were selected and honoured, among which her project was also nominated and allowed to present research work at “Rashtrapati Bhavan”,Delhi.
Further, the 60 nominated projects will be filled as a patent so that the participants/developers idea would not be copied and in future they can work upon it and for its betterment. The process of patent is still going on.
It is a great honour to our school to get our student to select to patent level research.
